I use information to drive social good.

I recently finished my studies at the University of Maryland (Ancestral Lands of the Piscataway), where I developed a strong background in using a variety of information to create functional, meaningful, well-rounded solutions in healthcare and academia.

I work at Barclays Bank in Whippany, NJ (Ancestral Lands of the Munsee Lenape), helping drive innovative change in their technology and banking sectors.

Before graduate school, I worked and lived in the Philadelphia area (Ancestral Lands of the Lenni-Lenape) for four years. I worked in behavioral HIV research with adolescents at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. This work examined how social media apps could curb an adolescent's risk of HIV infection. And before that, I supported LGBTQ+-identified students through various initiatives at Swarthmore College. One initiative was creating a mentorship program for current students, faculty staff, and alums.

Additionally, I have experience working in donor management at the National Park Service and have written a 20+ page literature review on transgender women of color and poverty at the Kluge Center at the Library of Congress, both in Washington, D.C (Ancestral Lands of the Piscataway and Anacostan).

During graduate school, while living in Montgomery County, MD (Ancestral Lands of the Piscataway), I worked under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Bonsignore at the University of Maryland with the Center for Early Childhood Education and Intervention, where I created user-centered applications and websites for the Center's research and public-facing needs.

During the summer of 2021, I interned at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group and created internal websites and instruction manuals for point-of-care ultrasound devices. There I also aided with strategic planning. And in 2021, I taught a 300-level course in LGBT Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, to juniors and seniors.

I hold a Bachelors's Degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Information Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, where I was awarded the Lorde-O'Leary Award for the Senior class member who contributed most significantly to the LGBTQ+ campus community.
