Teaching

I have experience teaching at the University of Maryland, College Park. In the Fall of 2021, I taught an upper-level course, LGBT 350, in the Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

In the Fall of 2020, I served as the Teaching Assistant for this course. In that role, I participated in class discussions, graded coursework, and hosted office hours.

Course Description: “Study of differences, stereotypes, and values distinguishing LGBT people and of effective means of communicating such differences to non-LGBT people. Emphasis on contemporary LGBT life and on the development of didactic skills. Preparation and presentation of forums on LGBT people; facilitation of workshops in various outreach locations (residence halls, Greek system, classes).”
